2015 wasn’t a bad year.
Truly. I can honestly say I ended it happily, no matter how it began. It began with one of the worst seizures of my life, but in two weeks I will be a year seizure free.
After fifteen years of epilepsy, this is the first time I’ve ever been able to say that. I’m super excited.
I’m healthy (I mean, as healthy as a girl with a taste for cheese and pasta can be… I’m no super health nut). I’m certainly happy.
My girls have been great. Howlite checked out perfectly when I did a full workup on her. Anisa remains adorably annoying. I love them both oodles and they’ve made this year wonderful.
I was able to spend some time with my family and friends in the US in May. The trip was a rough one, with the weather in Texas being so mad, but it was still fantastic to see people when it had been two years since my previous trip.
Last month (it’s last month now! December) I delivered a paper at a conference, which is the first time I’ve ever done that. Very interesting experience. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Didn’t hurt that it was followed by a fun little vacation to Bangkok.
Good movies, good books, good TV shows, good comics, good food. Good fountain pens. I got a fountain pen made after Sailor Moon’s transformation pen!!!
So much good in life. I hope 2016 can live up to it.
I hope all of you have one as good.
Love to all!
